  • Overview

    Well-established manufacturing company seeking an accounts payable clerk.

    Responsibilities

    1. Invoice Reconciliation to the PO and item receipt, processing with correct GL codes to ensure accurate recording into ERP system. Investigate any discrepancies with purchasing department and/or vendors.
    2. Obtain invoice approvals and supporting documents from appropriate persons as needed.
    3. Maintain and coordinate all vendor relations.
    4. Reconcile vendor statements to payables.
    5. Track prepaid, accruals, and credits accurately to ensure payment accuracy to vendors.
    6. Process accurate and timely payments, reimbursements and per diems; including checks, wires and ACH transactions.
    7. Filing and maintaining vendor files.
    8. Track purchase-card transactions and follow up on appropriate back-up paperwork.
    9. Participate in regular audits.
    10. Other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2-5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
    • Associates Degree (business management and/or accounting emphasis preferred) or equivalent experience in the field of Accounting.
    • Attention to detail, organization, analyze information, maintain vendor relations, data entry skills, general math skills, able to meet deadlines, able to multitask, and PC/Microsoft Office proficient. Experience in JDE/Oracle software a plus.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
