  • Overview

    Review and assess any and all necessary reporting documents and communication related to finished goods inventory, product deployment, and orders for business needs.

    Responsibilities

    ·        Review daily the finished goods inventory of current day’s product deployment. Adjust product on loads within JDE as needed.

     

    ·        Re-assess daily the planned trucks based on attained inventory and deployment to determine if more/less trucks are needed.

     

    ·        Weekly review the following week’s production schedule to determine product deployment and create necessary deployment.

     

    ·        Work with sister plant to coordinate deployment of related products made at both facilities.

     

    ·        Work with carriers to build necessary orders, enter in JDE, create truck loads and load tenders for each truck needed based on weekly plan.

     

    ·        Schedule loading appointments for shipping trucks.

     

    ·        Schedule appointments for inbound deliveries.

     

    ·        Create and schedule loads for select inbound and outbound raw material loads, based on requests/orders created by Purchaser.

     

    ·        Communicate with carriers to ensure completion of business needs.

     

    ·        Communicate with Distribution Centers to schedule delivery appointments for Finished Goods loads to be shipped.

     

    ·        Check in drivers, upon arrival, for loading appointments.

    • Review Finished Goods load paperwork and labels for discrepancies, report any discrepancies, and file reporting and load documents.

    • Process SG/OG requests for shipping discrepancies.
    •  
    • Review daily the ST/OT Validation report for loads in error status and resolve any errors.
    •  
    • Assist in closing month end reporting needs.
    •  
    • Generate daily reports in JDE to monitor certain product needs for direct shipments.
    •  
    • Communicate with local and corporate departments regarding customer orders to ensure coverage.
    •  Backup Production Scheduler and perform all other work as assigned

    Qualifications

    ·        Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.   Must possess moderate computer skills and knowledge with an emphasis on Microsoft programs.

     

    Education:

     

    ·        Associate degree or 1 to 2 years equivalent experience in production environment. Frozen food experience preferred, but not mandatory.

     

    General Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

     

    ·        Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

    ·        Valid Driver’s License

    ·        Flexibility with work schedule

    ·        Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure

    ·        Detail Oriented.

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
