  • Overview

    Administers human resources policies and programs for the Ontario, CA location and field employees by providing human resources services, including leave and benefit administration, records management, employee relations and retention, supporting day to day personnel transactions and assisting with key projects on an as needed basis.


    • Maintains and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all HR related policies and procedures including various leave management, such as: FMLA, STD, LTD.
    • Provides Human Resources and safety technical guidance and expertise to employees and managers.
    • Resolve employee relation issues by identifying the core problem and providing a solution. Coach and counsel the manager and their employee(s) to ensure resolution.
    • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
    • Responsible for promoting a positive employee culture by effectively identifying and coordinating community and company events and initiating/leading various employee committees in support of a positive company culture.
    • Prepares various reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.Assists in training management and employees in HR related activities including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
    • Assists with the efficient operation and fulfillment of all HR duties and works closely with the HR team on assigned projects.
    • Acts as the Ontario Safety representative.
    • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
    • Consistent attendance to assure a smooth and effective HR operation.


    • Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, articulate and confident.
    • Strong organizational abilities and strong desire to provide attention to details.
    • A true team player who is supportive and willing to aid fellow department members when needed.
    • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft suite).
    • Experience with Kronos, iCims and HighGround would be a plus.
