  • Overview

    Position is responsible for supporting the Director of Logistics as the warehouse/shipping subject matter expert. Position will help manage shipping and warehouse movement and processes which includes tendering freight to customers (inbound and outbound). Position will  assist with warehouse and CHEP inventories and assist with warehouse/logistics projects when assigned.


    • Coordinate with third party manufactures pick-ups and delivery of finished goods and raw materials
    • Effectively communicate daily and as needed operational updates verbally, via e-mail, and via telephone
    • Coordinate Private Fleet for customer deliveries and raw material pick-ups
    • Assist plants with carrier related issues
    • Assist Customer Service Group with O&SD-RGR and POD
    • Resolve issues with carriers, customers both internal and external
    • Create, maintain the Master Bill of Lading, Routing Guide, Carrier Data Base and DOT files
    • Create reports that help assist the plants in transportation cost savings
    • Assist in auditing freight payables for accuracy against contracted rates
    • Maintain and clear all SO and R55 errors that are generated from JDE daily.
    • Clear routing errors that customer service faces daily.
    • Processing, submitting and monitoring all claim related to imports from China.


    • Bachelor’s degree with preference in Supply Chain management, Finance and/or Logistics. In lieu of degree, 3-5  years of experience in logistics, tranportation, warehouse, customes international trade, manufacturing and/or distribution
    • Experience with TMS/WMS preferred.
    • Experience using Supply Chain systems, tools and applications preferred
    • Detail oriented and self-starter
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Data Base applications
    • Ability to generate queries and organize data
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline type setting.
    • Ability to organize, interpret and disburse large amounts of information.
