The Maintenance Scheduler-Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective use of department resources to coordinate maintenance activities at the plant. Essential functions of this position include assigning work priority, developing job plans, defining parts and materials and supervising department maintenance mechanics. In collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Scheduler-Supervisor will prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, climb stairs and ladders, and reach with hands and arms. Position occasionally requires climbing to high elevations. The employee is required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and at times up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
