  • Overview

    The Help-desk Analyst (III) will perform final level technical support and service restoration for daily operations in a complex, distributed computing environment. The position will need to handle on-site and remote end-user support of a wide variety of systems and applications with a focus on project work and infrastructure related issues. Support the network and server infrastructure with help from the infrastructure team will be required. The position will be required to handle complex incidents with minimal oversight and reports to the Sr. Manager, Infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    END USER SUPPORT:

    • Deploy and troubleshoot PC hardware, mobile devices, and network printers
    • Imaging and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows (7/10)
    • Troubleshoot a wide variety of systems and applications
    • Utilization of AD and Group Policy for user and device management
    • Monitors helpdesk queue and uses it to track incident status and resolution
    • Maintain system inventory
    • Other tasks as assigned

     INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT:

    • Execute and assists in the deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and support of infrastructure systems, including networks, telecommunications, PC’s, etc. including associated hardware
    • Works with other functional IT areas on project related activities including improving or upgrading network and server infrastructure

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in the field of computer science or information systems
    • 3 years of experience minimum
    • Microsoft certifications preferred (MCSA, MCSE)
    • Technical understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP; DNS, DHCP etc.)

    • System Center Configuration Manager
    • In depth experience with Windows 7&10, Windows server 2012 and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
